2
Why did the War Start in the First Place?
Many aspects of the war are still relentlessly debated, however, the truth persists: The war began when the Confederates bombarded Union Soldiers at Fort Sumter, South Carolina on April 12, Why? It started because of uncompromising differences between the free and slave states over the power of the national government to prohibit slavery in the territories that had not yet become states. When Abraham Lincoln won election in 1860 as the first republican president on a platform pledging to keep slavery out of the territories. Seven slave states in the deep south seceded and formed a new nation, the Confederate States of America.

Where did the Civil War Take Place?
Among the 34 U.S. states in January 1861, seven southern slave states individually declared their secession from the U.S. and and formed the confederate states of America. War broke out in April 1861 when they attacked a U.S. fortress, Fort Sumter. The confederacy grew to include eleven states. It claimed two more states and several western territories. The states that remained loyal including border states where.slavery was legal, was known as the Union or the North. Which Side Won, How and Why?
As most of us see it, the north (United States) won the war. After forcing the Confederate Generals to surrender their troops, and ending it. It was at the beginning of 1864, president Lincoln places commander general Ulysses S. Grant in command of all union armies, which was a smart move, knowing Grant could formalize a plan to attack the Confederate from all angles. Seeing that annihilating the Confederation was the only chance of ending the war. With his strategy of blocking off resources from the south, forcing them to commence war with Grant over the resources, and revealing themselves, lead to the great defeat of the confederate states, and winning the war for the U.S.

Post-war: How did white southerners feel about racism
Well, regarding the casualties of many families inhabiting the south, it was divided concerning regards of black people. For the blacks, the challenge was grasping the same freedom to choose their life path. As for white people, it was trying to restore the order before the war, and maintain an ownership on black people. Overall, not much has changed, and its still pretty awful in today’s society. The entire justice system is biased and racist above all.

What Act of Congress did the Victors Introduce?
For the United States, this period is known as the Reconstruction Era. It greatly concerns the transformation of the southern United States from to Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson both took moderate positions designed to bring the south back to normal as quickly as possible, while the Radical Republicans used Congress to block any moderate approaches, impose harsh terms, and upgrade the rights of the freedmen.

How has time changed these outcomes?
After the invigorating murder of Trayvon Martin caused by George Zimmerman, the campaign of Black Lives Matter launched in 2012 and has sprouted into a large fundraiser to support the damaged lives of black people. But Black Lives Matter is always there to influence people to embrace cultures and inspire the corrupted racism of modern life to end by showing that Black Lives Matter, and I think they’ve made an effort in succeeding by changing lives of white and black people.

Along with what was previously said, Black Lives Matter is at least trying to make a change which is what matters. Although it'll take a long time, maybe even forever to change racist outlooks on not just black people, but those of all ethnicities, it is for a good cause.
