2
Kinetic Molecular Theory
The kinetic theory of gases describes a gas as a large number of small particles, all of which are in constant, random motion. The theory says that gas pressure is due to the impacts, on the walls of a container, of molecules or atoms moving at different velocities.
3
Expansion Do not have a definite shape or volume
They completely fill a container in which they are enclosed
4
Fluidity The quality or state of being a fluid.
The physical property of a substance that enables it to flow: the reciprocal of viscosity.
5
Review/Application Q1 Theoretical gas is _________ a) ideal gas
