7. Volunteering on Day of Tournament
Shift 1: 7:45-10
Registration, Set-up, Begin Individual Test, Grading
Shift 2: 10-12
Facilitate Ciphering Round (collect questions, grade questions quickly, keeping track of time etc. )
Break+Feedback Session: Each volunteer will be at a table helping students understand the questions they missed
Shift 3: 12-2:15
Sell baked goods and pizza, Grade Team Round Tests, Help in Awards Ceremony

8. 2017 Mu Alpha Theta National Convention
Buffalo, NY
Sunday, July 16 - Friday, July 21, 2017
Adam Mark’s Hotel
Cost: $550 before April 1st, $600 before May 15th
Travel: $50 by bus
The registration fee includes convention activities, lodging at the hotel, all meals (except Wednesday lunch and Friday breakfast), and t-shirt.

10. Tutoring Updates
For each week, you must sign-up at least 24 hours in advance
Ex) Volunteer on Wednesday → sign-up by Tuesday 2:10 PM
Please only sign-up for days you can definitely volunteer as otherwise you are taking someone else’s spot
If you must cancel, it must be 24 hours in advance and if not please NMHS Board
We will not be taking attendance on a daily basis, only checking up occasionally
Please uphold the integrity of the honor society
If we do call names, it’s only for people we are unsure of → if we see you, we will mark you as present
You need 16 credits total by end of 1st semester
