How To Participate! Writing 5 questions in a specific level
Write Questions Writing 5 questions in a specific level Format: 1 easy, 2 medium, 2 hard questions Typed question & answer in Word or LaTeX Sign up on Sign Up Genius Volunteer on 3/25 Help with various tasks in each shift Bring in drinks/baked goods Signup Genius will be sent shortly Edit Question Sets Once questions are assembled, we will bring in packets to the afterschool session to check answers

Volunteering on Day of Tournament
Shift 1: 7:45-10 Registration, Set-up, Begin Individual Test, Grading Shift 2: 10-12 Facilitate Ciphering Round (collect questions, grade questions quickly, keeping track of time etc. ) Break+Feedback Session: Each volunteer will be at a table helping students understand the questions they missed Shift 3: 12-2:15 Sell baked goods and pizza, Grade Team Round Tests, Help in Awards Ceremony

2017 Mu Alpha Theta National Convention
Buffalo, NY Sunday, July 16 - Friday, July 21, 2017 Adam Mark’s Hotel Cost: $550 before April 1st, $600 before May 15th Travel: $50 by bus The registration fee includes convention activities, lodging at the hotel, all meals (except Wednesday lunch and Friday breakfast), and t-shirt. Over 1,000 students Individual tests, topic tests, games, team tests, speed math, mental math, posters, presentations Mary Rhein Memorial Scholarship, Sallie Scudder Memorial Scholarship, Paul R. Goodey Scholarship

Tutoring Updates For each week, you must sign-up at least 24 hours in advance Ex) Volunteer on Wednesday → sign-up by Tuesday 2:10 PM Please only sign-up for days you can definitely volunteer as otherwise you are taking someone else’s spot If you must cancel, it must be 24 hours in advance and if not please NMHS Board We will not be taking attendance on a daily basis, only checking up occasionally Please uphold the integrity of the honor society If we do call names, it’s only for people we are unsure of → if we see you, we will mark you as present You need 16 credits total by end of 1st semester
