1 Contract Carrier Seal Inspection Procedures
“Inspect Every Security Seal”! “The following (VVTT) seal inspection procedure must be done every time”…. A driver hooks to a sealed trailer. Immediately after a seal has been changed/applied by the driver, customer or an inspecting agent. Every time a driver is out of view of the sealed trailer for any length of time”.

2 (VVTT) Seal Inspection Procedure
(VVTT) View, Verify, Tug, Twist View the seal and locking brackets or latches. Verify the seal number against paperwork or with dispatch. Tug on the seal to confirm it is affixed properly. Twist the seal to make sure it does not unscrew or pull apart.

4 VVTT Inspection Procedure High Security Bolt Seal
Verify seal number View seal and locking mechanisms on both doors Twist & Turn seal to confirm it does not unscrew Tug on seal

5 Reminders Immediately notify dispatch of any signs of trailer or seal tampering/discrepancies. Note the full seal numbers including zeros on bills and security inspection sheets.

6 International Driver Reminders
All border crossing trailers must be sealed with a high security seal at the last point of departure, loaded or MTY. Top picture is examples of ISO approved high security seals. Bottom examples are not high security seals.
