Value of contract: Length of contract: Contract start date: Completion date: £340,000 6 months June 2014 December 2014 Works/services provided: Design and installation of surface water attenuation & soakaways to combat high water table Site strip and landscaping In-situ concrete foundations and floor slab Masonry Structure; clay facing brickwork including feature plinth and elements of through coloured monocouche render finish Design of gas fired central heating. Including heating throughout the ground floor Electrical installation including energy efficient “LED” and feature lighting throughout Trussed and traditional ‘Atrium’ timber roof structure concrete tile finish Bespoke timber windows and EE Glazing Luxury bathroom suites and kitchen including porcelain wall and floor tiling Detailed description of contract: Construction of a contemporary detached home, in an established residential area, and protected by local conservation covenants. The Four bedroom two-storey house is a bespoke design aimed to complement the 1920’s art deco ‘Beehive Garage’ situated at the front of the site. Combining cutting edge technology with traditional craftsmanship the building incorporates energy efficient materials, feature glazing, large open plan ground floor reception rooms, underfloor heating throughout, luxury bathrooms, bespoke joinery, rainwater attenuation and landscaping.
