So what does this mean for me?
Certain CONJUNCTIONS require the subjunctive because they express doubt about the second part of the sentence. ¿Qué?

VAMOS A VER… No comes carne crudo a menos que quieras estar enfermo. Don’t eat raw meat, UNLESS you want to get sick. Mi madre va imprimir los fotos para que puedas verlas. My mom will print the pictures , SO THAT you can see them.

CONJUNCTIONS WITHOUT QUE
If a conjunction us used without QUE, it is followed by the INFINITIVE not the SUBJUNCTIVE. Tendrás que comer ANTES DE QUE salgas. You will have to eat before you leave. Tendrás que comer ANTES DE salir. You will have to eat before leaving.
