Promote high-quality, innovative, and safe service delivery

No decisions have been made about a particular funding model or implementation approach
There will be consultation with stakeholders on future reform directions and options

5. What we’ve heard from you
Consumers sometimes need to wait for care – can vary depending on where they live
Small providers, particularly in rural areas, need to be supported
Government systems need to be able to support reforms
Gaps, inequities and interface problems need to be addressed, e.g. user contributions/fees
Reablement and restorative care should be encouraged

Changes to funding models could impact on business viability and local social capital
Sector is still adjusting to other reforms – risk of change fatigue
Concerns about proposed timeframe for Stage 2
