Tips for Blocking Most attention falls down stage, center.
Movement should be natural to character and situation. Maids could be cleaning in the background when not delivering lines. Angry characters could pace down stage. Everything—even entrances and exits—should be blocked. Know how and when characters move.

Your Task Block your assigned scene.
Sketch a diagram of the stage and indicate where scenery may be located List movements of main characters, including entrances and exits Make notes on any and all small movements (pacing, gestures, etc.) which should accompany the characters.
