This document provides an overview about operational communication on RFC 5 Organizational units responsible for Traffic Management Organizational units for management of disturbances and in case of crisis Border for operational rules Existing information systems for all RFC 5 borders

4 RFC 5 Border SZDC – PKP PLK Petrovice u Karviné (Zebrzydowice)
The Traffic Operation is organized between SZDC-Station in Petrovice u Karviné ( ) and PKP PLK-Station in Zebrzydowice, Line dispatcher (7/24h) ( i ) The operational language is Czech and Polish. The border for operational rules is the state border, the rules are available in Polish and Czech language only The Traffic Management in case of disturbances is carried out between SZDC traffic management in Praha ( ) for disurbance influenceing whole network and SZDC regional traffic management in Prerov for others & daily business ( ) and PKP PLK TMC - Main Dispatching Center (7/24h) in Warszawa, ( ) for all traffic, PKP PLK Regional Traffic Management, Regional Dispatching in Sosnowiec (7/24h) for border section, ( ) The traffic management language is by SZDC Czech, at PKP PLK Polish. Traffic management communication is supported by „RNE TCCCom“. Train information for cross border trains is available in „RNE-TIS“. 4

The Traffic Operation is organized between PKP PLK-Station in Międzylesie, Line dispatcher (7/24h) ( ) and SZDC-Station in Lichkov ( ) The operational language is Polish and Czech. The border for operational rules is the state border, the rules are available in Polish and Czech language only. The Traffic Management in case of disturbances is carried out between PKP PLK TMC - Main Dispatching Center (7/24h) in Warszawa, ( ) for all traffic, PKP PLK Traffic Management Branch, Regional Dispatching in Wrocław (7/24h) for border section, ( ) and SZDC traffic management in Praha ( ) for disurbance influenceing whole network and SZDC regional traffic management in Praha ( ) for others & daily business. The traffic management language is by SZDC Czech, at PKP PLK Polish. Traffic management communication is supported by „RNE TCCCom“. The border for operational rules is the state border, the rules are available in Polish and Czech language only. The Traffic Operation is organized between ŽSR-Station in Skalité ( ) and PKP PLK-Station in Zwardoń, (7/24h) line dispatcher ( ) The operational languages are Slovak and Polish. The border for operational rules is at the border between Slovakia and Poland, the rules are available in Slovak and Polish language only. The Traffic Management in case of disturbances is carried out between ŽSR Traffic management in Bratislava ( ) and PKP PLK TMC - Main Dispatching Center (7/24h) in Warszawa, ( ) for all traffic, PKP PLK Regional Traffic Management, Regional Dispatching Sosnowiec (7/24h) for border section, ( ). The language applied in the field of traffic management at ŽSR is Slovak, whereby at PKP PLK it is Polish. Traffic management communication is supported by RNE TCCCom. RFC 5 Border ŽSR – SŽDC Čadca (Mosty u Jablunkova) The Traffic Operation is organized between ŽSR-Station in Čadca ( ) and SŽDC line dispatcher of the station Návsí who controlls the station Mosty u Jablunkova (7/24h) ( ) The operational languages are Slovak and Czech. The border for operational rules is at the border between Slovakia and Czech Republic, the rules are available in Slovak and Czech language only. The Traffic Management in case of disturbances is carried out between ŽSR Traffic management in Bratislava ( ) and SŽDC - Main Dispatching Center (7/24h) in Praha ( ) ) for disurbance influenceing whole network, SŽDC Regional Traffic Management in Prerov for others & daily business ( ). The language applied in the field of traffic management at ŽSR is Slovak, whereby at SŽDC it is Czech language. Traffic management communication is supported by „RNE TCCCom“. The border for operational rules is the state border, the rules are available in German and Czech language only The Traffic Management in case of disturbances is carried out between SZDC traffic management in Praha ( ) for disurbance influenceing whole network and SZDC regional traffic management in Prerov for others & daily business ( ) and ÖBB Verkehrsleitzentrale Wien ( ) The traffic management language is by SZDC Czech, at ÖBB German. The Traffic Operation is organized between ŽSR-Station in Devínska Nová Ves ( ) and ÖBB-Station in Marchegg ( ). The operational language is Slovak. The border for operational rules is the entrance signal Marchegg, coming from Slovak side, the rules are available in German and Slovak language only. The Traffic Management in case of disturbances is carried out between ŽSR Traffic management in Bratislava ( ) and ÖBB Verkehrsleitzentrale Wien ( ). The language applied in the field of traffic management at ŽSR is Slovak, whereby at ÖBB it is German. Traffic management communication is supported by RNE TCCCom. The Traffic Operation is organized between ŽSR-Station in Bratislava-Petržalka ( ) and ÖBB-Station in Kittsee ( ) The operational language is German. The border for operational rules is the entrance signal Kittsee, coming from Slovak side, the rules are available in German and Slovak language only. The Traffic Management in case of disturbances is carried out between ŽSR Traffic management in Bratislava ( ) and ÖBB Verkehrsleitzentrale Wien ( ). The language applied in the field of traffic management at ŽSR is Slovak, whereby at ÖBB it is German. The Traffic Operation is organized between SŽ - Station Šentilj ( ) and ÖBB-Station in Spielfeld-Straß ( ) The operational language is Slovene. The traffic on the  border line Spielfeld Straß – Šentilj is managed by SŽ operational rules and regulations. The rules are available in Slovene and German language. The Traffic Management in case of disturbances is carried out between SŽ Main Traffic Dispatcher Ljubljana ( ) and ÖBB Verkehrsleitzentrale Wien ( ). The traffic management language is by SŽ Slovene, at ÖBB German Traffic management communication is supported by „RNE TCCCom“. Train information for cross border trains is available in „RNE-TIS“ 12

13 RFC 5 Border SŽ - RFI Sežana -Villa Opicina
The Traffic Operation is organized between SŽ - Station Sežana ( ) and RFI - Station Villa Opicina ( ) The operational language is Slovene. The traffic on the  border line Sežana – Villa Opicina is managed by SŽ operational rules and regulations. The rules are available in Slovenian and Italian language. The Traffic Management in case of disturbances is carried out between SŽ Main Traffic Dispatcher Ljubljana ( ) and RFI TCC of Mestre ( , mobile: ). The traffic management language is by SŽ Slovene, at RFI Italian. Traffic management communication is supported by „RNE TCCCom“. Train information for cross border trains is available in „RNE-TIS 13

14 RFC 5 Border RFI – ÖBB Tarvisio Boscoverde (Thörl-Maglern)
The Traffic Operation is organized between RFI-Station in Tarvisio Boscoverde (Phone: ) and ÖBB-Station in Arnoldstein ( ) The operational language is German. During office times, the traffic coordination between IMs and with RUs is supported by a service unit/Servicestelle (Tarvisio Programmazione Treni - TPT) in German and Italian language, consisting of 2 offices: one in Tarvisio (phone: ) and one in Villach (phone: ). The border for operational rules is the entrance signal Tarvisio Boscoverde on the Austrian side, the rules are available in German and Italian language only The Traffic Management in case of disturbances is carried out between RFI TCC of Mestre (+39 : , mobile: ) and ÖBB Verkehrsleitzentrale Wien ( ) The traffic management language by RFI Italian, at ÖBB German Traffic management communication is supported by RNE TCCCom.
