● Feel some pain? Listen to your brain.
● Don't forget the 20-inch rule!

3. Thought working in a secure corporate firm would keep you away from industrial hazards? Think again! Desk jobs have their own problems. Working on a computer for more than 3 hours at a stretch? You have a problem there. Working on a desk with edges touching your wrists while you type? You have a problem there too. Can't move your legs comfortably while working at the desk? You have a problem yet again.

5. When you type on the keyboard, make sure your wrists don't continuously touch the wooden edges of the desk. This might lead to contact stress that affects blood vessels and nerves. It might also cause sore fingers and tingling, use wrist rests and also keep the computer screen at a minimum distance of 20 inches.

6. Use the first sign if you are mopping a floor and want to inform pedestrians to avoid a certain area for sometime. Try to place the sign in such a way that it obstructs the path of employees and students. Use the second sign if you have a door separating the wet area from the dry one. Hang the message on the door.

7. Someone might trip over them and break a bone or two
Someone might trip over them and break a bone or two. Put up signs indicating to the wires and keep away from these devils. Remember, live wires are a bigger threat.

8. If your premises include a manufacturing or production unit, the potential of these hazards increase. In such cases, it is very important to use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). PPE refers to protective clothing of various kinds. This might include helmets, goggles, etc. Hard helmet areas demand different types of helmets.
