THE TRAINING OUTLINE EXAMPLE OF ELECTRICIAN WORK PROCESSES HOURS PRELIMINARY WORK: Learning names and uses for equipment used in trade, names of various tools used in assembling material. RESIDENTIAL , INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL ROUGH WIRING: Moving material from stockroom, laying out outlets, etc. from blueprints or personal instruction, laying out systems, cutting and installation of wires/cables RESIDENTIAL, INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL FINISH WORK: Connecting and setting switches, plates, and receptacles; installing proper fuses, various kinds of fixtures; assisting journeyman in installation and completion of work in accordance with the rules of National Board of Fire Underwriters and local regulations. INDUSTRIAL LIGHTING AND SERVICE INSTALLATION: Installing all types of heavy electrical equipment, wiring all types of heating equipment, complete installation for air conditioning. TROUBLESHOOTING: Repairing electrical work, check for trouble – make repairs under supervision, check for trouble and make repairs without supervision. MOTOR INSTALLATION AND CONTROL: Install overcurrent devices, install replacement motors, analyze motor circuits/troubleshooting, install emergency generators TOTAL HOURS 2150 1.) Preliminary work is 250 hours of total training time, but preliminary work will always have to be done. After training in that work process for 250 hours, the trainee is not training anymore. They are working. 2.) Every approved training program must have a training outline. The training outline is made up of different work groups relevant to the trade or skill being learned. Each work group is made up of processes all of which have to be successfully learned in order to complete the training program.

14 LEAVE AND EARNINGS - Example
HOURLY WAGE RATE OVERTIME HOURS DATES OF LEAVE We realize that trainees work at several sites and are paid by other contractors. Make it the responsibility of the trainee to provide the SCO with pay records. Otherwise gathering these for compliance survey visits will consume way too much of your time. TRAINEES NEED TO PROVIDE THEIR PAY RECORDS TO THE SCO
