Founded in 1991 with a focus on aerospace and complex electronic medical products – hence the name “Airtronic”
2003: Focus switched to weapons, particularly US legacy weapon systems: the M2 MG, the MK-19 GMG, and the M203 Grenade Launcher
2005: Airtronic wins the M9 Magazine award and delivers at surge quantities five months early
2006: Airtronic wins all three USG M203 Grenade Launcher multi-year awards for all of the US militaries and friendly foreign militaries
2009: Airtronic introduces the first American made RPG-7
2010: Airtronic wins the next USG 5-year M203/M203A2 Grenade Launcher award
2011: Airtronic’s adds a cost-effective“leap ahead” improvement in the area of Less than Lethal capability to the M203 Grenade Launcher with demos at NATD in Ottawa
