Communication is a strategic issue for IAQG business : Identify our “target” within our companies, through our supply chain, up to the customer, within the Aerospace and Quality communities, with other interested parties (Aviation Authorities), ... Use of all Communication supports / means use the best vehicle for information Dedicated IAQG Communication Team Contribute to the IAQG strategy / Improvement Initiatives Possibilities of improvement Usual Communication plan: to whom we want to talk with identify the best support when the message is to be delivered ==> set up a small WG to support the IAQG communication issues But, IAQG is still a young and pro-active group, and nobody is perfect, we wish to improve. Interactive Communication forums with the Aerospace community world wide IAQG General Assembly Conferences, CQCA, ... Day to day easy access Communication tools : Environmental friendliness Web Partnership & co-operation network Communication papers Point of contact Forums : Real arena for Communication ( TWO way exchange channel of information) such as todays first Communication to the outside IAQG community or Conference on Quality in Civil Aviation, and others … Usual tools such as : website information papers organisation persons We will just develop the 2 parts, since we expect from today's General Assembly your feedback and those who will attend the next week CQCA in Dallas will have a presentation from Gary Baker, the IAQG president. 4 Easy Access - Single source
AECMA web IAQG Website How can we survived without any web site ? Impossible in today’s world. So IAQG has its own site, under SAE web. This was agreed in order that there is only one single source to gather IAQG data. No duplication only web links with EU and ASIA. May I let, now, Ms Gretchen Brothers from SAE, develop the IAQG website access and content. New technology means fast communication IAQG is a standardised minded body, so one single IAQG data source. IAQG leaflets, for IAQG general presentation IAQG news letter: short information intended to be released after each IAQG meetings, distributed through IAQG channels Although we use all these new electronic tools to make communication faster, we still rely on old proven support. You will find …. Some IAQG leaflet, developed to present in few lines what IAQG stand for. You may have seen, and I hope that some of you did see them, what we call the IAQG news letter. This one page document is a kind of an executive summary report of our IAQG sessions or is dedicated to a specific issues such as the abstract below on “ 9100 std alignments with ISO 9001 Y2K”. 14 Possibilities for improvement
Our expectations : to communicate often / as necessary to be accountable to co-operate on initiatives that make our business easier, faster AND safer. Like a lot of thing a good compromise is always better, we should keep you inform about progress, trends and achievements Of course we are accountable for all IAQG deliveries and the key issue is : make IAQG world wild recognised.
