1 Let’s Pray

2 2 Corinthians 5:17 (The Message)
All New 2 Corinthians 5:17 (The Message) 17 Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! Only born again once, but Fresh start after fresh start- Look at it- see it

3 1 John 1:9 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

4 Habakkuk 2:2-4 2 Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. Written plain readable on the run Plan a start- time to pray and write Expect it be refined- to grow Expect details- perhaps a small beginning You are invited cards

5 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. 4 “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Think of the things we’ve seen revealed towards the end of 2017….abused power destroyed The stage is set for us (the church) to shine the year of fulfillment! First tarry- linger Second tarry- remain behind…it’s traveling with you!

6 Matthew 25:1–13 (The Message)
1 “God’s kingdom is like ten young virgins who took oil lamps and went out to greet the bridegroom. 2 Five were silly and five were smart. 3 The silly virgins took lamps, but no extra oil. 4 The smart virgins took jars of oil to feed their lamps. 5 The bridegroom didn’t show up when they expected him, and they all fell asleep. Always extra attention- the kingdom we now operate from they all fell asleep

7 6 “In the middle of the night someone yelled out, ‘He’s here
6 “In the middle of the night someone yelled out, ‘He’s here! The bridegroom’s here! Go out and greet him!’ 7 “The ten virgins got up and got their lamps ready. 8 The silly virgins said to the smart ones, ‘Our lamps are going out; lend us some of your oil.’ 9 “They answered, ‘There might not be enough to go around; go buy your own.’ go to sleep prepared

8 10 “They did, but while they were out buying oil, the bridegroom arrived. When everyone who was there to greet him had gone into the wedding feast, the door was locked. 11 “Much later, the other virgins, the silly ones, showed up and knocked on the door, saying, ‘Master, we’re here. Let us in.’ 12 “He answered, ‘Do I know you? I don’t think I know you.’ 13 “So stay alert. You have no idea when he might arrive. much later!

9 Philippians 3:13–14 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Step 1) forget the disappointments Step 2) reach forward- an act of will The two together are “one thing” What has the Holy Spirit put in your heart- what vision Unless we make an active choice, the vision erodes Exalt you or God

10 Philippians 4:8 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. meditate- an account or reckoning….to consider- give credit to Difference between “think” and “meditate” virtue- moral goodness Priests, entertainment industry powers, football players and coaches…..it’s easier to ask forgiveness than permission
