1 “God’s kingdom is like ten young virgins who took oil lamps and went out to greet the bridegroom. 2 Five were silly and five were smart. 3 The silly virgins took lamps, but no extra oil. 4 The smart virgins took jars of oil to feed their lamps. 5 The bridegroom didn’t show up when they expected him, and they all fell asleep.

Step 2) reach forward- an act of will
The two together are “one thing”
What has the Holy Spirit put in your heart- what vision
Unless we make an active choice, the vision erodes
Exalt you or God

10. Philippians 4:8
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
meditate- an account or reckoning….to consider- give credit to
Difference between “think” and “meditate”
virtue- moral goodness
Priests, entertainment industry powers, football players and coaches…..it’s easier to ask forgiveness than permission
