4. Alkaline Water-vending Kiosk: Common Questions
How long will the water stay alkaline?
Normally, consumers drink the water within a few days. The alkalinity normally only drops about 1 pH point after a few days, because carbon dioxide in the atmosphere reacts with the water and makes the water less alkaline. If the consumer stores the water and never opens it to drink it, the 9.5+ pH will last indefinitely.
How is the water made alkaline?
First, we purify the water through reverse-osmosis (R.O.); and second, we add all-natural ionic (i.e. positively charged) minerals into the water. These ionic minerals consist of Ionic Calcium, Ionic Magnesium, and Ionic Potassium.
What makes alkaline water hydrate better than other types of water?
AQUA 9+ water is micro-clustered water, which means that the water is made up of small chains of H2O molecules, therefore, penetrating our body cells very easily and hydrating our body faster. Other types of water, like spring water, have a difficult time penetrating our body cells, because these types of water are made up of large chains of H2O molecules. Under the “Effects of AQUA 9+ Water on the Blood” page (p. 6), one can see the tremendous hydration impact to our body on a cellular level.
What kind of filtration process is used to purify the water?
The filtration process used is called reverse-osmosis (R.O.), which removes 99.9% of all contaminants, heavy metals, fluoride, etc.
What’s the difference between the 8.0 pH and 9.5+ pH water?
The 8.0 pH water is similar to spring water quality. However, if one wants to experience the true health benefits of alkaline water, drinking the 9.5+ pH water is most beneficial.
What does the high pH water do to the body?
We cannot make any health claims; however, we have many anecdotal testimonials of consumers health improving as a result of drinking our water. Yes, our 9.5+ pH water is good for children, because it helps with the health and growth of their bones and teeth.
Is the high pH good for pets?
Yes, our 9.5+ pH water gives pets a healthier, shinier and thicker coat. It also helps reduce flea bites and itching.
Is the high pH good for people on medication?
Yes, our 9.5+ pH water helps absorb the medication into the body more effectively.
What’s the difference between purchasing alkaline drinking water from the water-vending kiosk versus purchasing alkaline drinking water in the prepackaged bottles from the store shelves?
First, the 9.5+ pH alkaline drinking water from the water-vending kiosk only costs $2.00 per gallon; whereas, the alkaline drinking water in the prepackaged bottles costs on average between $4.00 & $5.00 per gallon. Second, consumers enjoy purchasing large quantities from the water-vending kiosk for home use (e.g. for making beverages, such as, coffee and tea, as well as, for cooking and baking). The water sales from the kiosk enhances the store’s bottled water sales, because consumers still like to purchase the smaller prepackaged bottles and drink alkaline water on the go.
Is it okay to store alkaline water in a plastic container?
Yes, the plastic containers are normally BPA-free; meaning, the plastic will not leech into the water. Therefore, the plastic containers can be re-used over and over again. Just a word of caution, however; do not store the plastic containers directly in the sun.

The AQUA 9+ kiosk, Model # AQ9-2000, produces high quality, fresh tasting pure drinking water and natural ionic mineral alkaline drinking water, and has a simple push button operation used to fill 1, 3 & 5 gallon sized containers. Minimum Installation Requirements:
Electrical: plug-in (110V/15A circuit).
Plumbing: ½” inlet water line and floor drain preferred. If floor drain is not in the vicinity of the kiosk, a ¾” outlet water drain line will be installed.
