4 What you need to know. Vetting
We highly recommend you go to Fort Knox between now and Patriot Games to complete the individual vetting and pass process in advance. This will save you time. The Visitor’s Center is located on the left side of Bullion Blvd just past the Bullion Depository at the Fort Knox Main Entrance. It is open 7 days a week from 6:00AM to 9:00PM. What you need to know. Vetting

5 All personnel are required to be vetted and issued a pass, unless they have a DoD Identification card or are 17 and under. Those personnel under the age of 18 and who will be driving must be vetted. All personnel that are 18 and older and do not have a DoD identification card must go to the Visitor Center for vetting. For those personnel that live outside of the commuting area and are not able to go to the Fort Knox Visitor Center we can Pre-Vet them to determine if access would be granted. It does not eliminate the requirement to stop at the Visitor Center to be registered for access to the post. Vetting!

6 Below is the form that needs to be used to Pre-vet personnel (A fillable form can be found on our web site, Again, it only tells you if they would be granted access. We have also listed the Fort Knox Access Control website link below. It contains the criminal offenses that would not allow you access to post. If you are going to use a Pre-Vet roster please ensure all areas are completed. Do not list any personnel with a DoD id card or who is 17 and under. Unless they are driving. More about Vetting!
