5 International credit mobility
ICM projects are based on bilateral agreements between universities in Europe and universities in other parts of the world. They agree to send and host each other's students and staff.

Short-term studies in Europe that will count to your degree back home Mobility for Bachelor, Master and Doctoral students – and for staff Grants for trainees Study periods of 3 – 12 months, traineeships of 2-12 months Grant for travel and subsistence

Contact your own university's international relations office to see: which agreements it has which study programmes are open for mobility

10 Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees
These are joint master programmes awarding a degree, with study in two or more of the universities in the partnership, in different countries. Also with EU-funded scholarships, open to everybody worldwide. Students do not have to be registered at a partner university.

15 What languages will you need?
Vast majority of Master courses are taught in English, but… …whatever the language of instruction, it is important to have the right level of linguistic ability, and… …chance to enroll in tailor-made language courses, add to your skills and improve your employability

16 If you are successful: Prepare your visa requests/other administrative procedures Ensure you have all the necessary documents ready well in advance (originals, certified copies) Ensure that you are properly informed about your rights and obligations laid down in the student agreement Ask advice and support from fellow students who have already benefited from an EM scholarship (see EMA website)

17 The EU funds scholarships under Erasmus+. This is just part of a wider range of education opportuntiies available in Europe. Many of these also have scholarships provided by national or regional authorities, or by NGOs and sponsors.
