1. Team Driving
First Driver login to POV Completely.

2. Select 3 Dots + Add Team Driver
Tap the three dots button and choose Add Team Driver

3. Person 2 Login
The next person will add their username and password to login.

4. Choose Duty Status
The second team member will be taken directly to the status page, skipping the carrier, tractor, and trailer pages. By default the system will assign the same carrier, tractor, and trailer as the driver.

5. Select Current Status
Notice that the team driver will only be able to select a non-driving duty status. Only the driver will be moved into driving when the vehicle is in motion.

6. Team Driver Home Screen
The team driver will see their home screen and can use their log as normal. They have an added Make Me Driver button if they want to assume the driver role from the 1st driver.

7. Add Additional Drivers
Add additional drivers, up to 4 people total by using the 3 dots button and Add Team Driver

8. Team 3 Login
This third member of the team will see the same steps. Login with username and password

9. Choose Team 3 Status
Just like any other time you login, if you are out of hours, the status screen will still show your hours of service. Each team driver is given the same carrier, tractor, and trailer as the original driver.

10. 3rd Team Driver
After all drivers are logged into the tablet, it is recommended to tap onto another driver’s name tab to lock down all driver’s accounts.

11. Locked Accounts
Now all driver accounts are locked and each driver would have to add their password to unlock their tab.

12. Steering Wheel Icon = Driver
The driver will have a steering wheel on their name tab. Only the user with the steering wheel will be automatically moved into driving status when the vehicle is in motion.

13. Make Me Driver
Any team driver that unlocks their tab will have a Make Me Driver button which allows them to assume the active driver role.

14. Make Me Driver
After choosing Make Me Driver, they will see a pop-up verification window. Choose Yes to assume the driver role or cancel to not become the driver.

15. New Driver
Now Bess is the driver and has the steering wheel on her name tab. Only Bess’s log will reflect the driving motion of the tractor.

16. Remove Team Member
If a team member leaves and forgets to log out of this tablet. The other team members can sign them out in the team member’s current status. Here Pedigree Trainer has left. The other team members will tap on Pedigree Trainer’s name tab and choose Sign Out and Pedigree Trainer will be removed from this tablet in their current status. It does not put the team member into off duty.

17. Sign Out
A team driver should sign out normally to make sure that they sign out in the proper status. The team member should unlock their tab and use the Sign Out button.

18. Sign Out Buttons
The team member has all of the regular options for sign out.
Sign out only if they are simply leaving this team driving occurrence and not yet done with their shift
Go Off Duty, Certify, Then Sign Out if they are done for the day and not in Sleeper Berth

19. Certify Logs
The team driver can certify their log and any other unsigned days before logging out.

21. Sign out
Then click sign out and Calvin is fully logged out as off duty at the end of his shift.

22. One Driver
Now Bess is the only one on this tablet and can finish her shift as needed.

23. Driver Inspection
Only the driver will be required to log a pre-trip* or post trip inspection in the system. HOWEVER…. If the team members switch drivers, the old driver should perform and submit a post trip inspection and the new driver should perform and submit a pre-trip* inspection before driving. (*Pre-trip is optional in the system and can be turned on or off in the driver’s account though OneView.)

24. Inspect Vehicle
Next tap Inspect Vehicle (Review any defects if necessary)

25. Inspection Results
Mark all inspection results, either passed or defect.

26. Submit Inspection
Tap sign and submit and verify your results.

27. Unidentified Records – Team Driver 3
Unidentified Records download to the device and all team drivers logged into this device will see the unidentified records on their log book tab.

28. Unidentified Records – Team Driver 2
Unidentified Records download to the device and all team drivers logged into this device will see the unidentified records on their log book tab.

29. Unidentified Records – Team Driver 1
Unidentified Records download to the device and all team drivers logged into this device will see the unidentified records on their log book tab.

30. Unidentified Records
Any of the team drivers could unlock their account, look at the unidentified records and tap Back if not theirs, or Accept if the records belong to them.

31. Unidentified Records
After taping Accept, verify your selection by tapping Yes

32. Unidentified Records
Not this driver has accepted the unidentified records Tap Back to get out of this screen
