Ideas are good, experimentation plans are great, preliminary results are best
Don't assume the panelists reviewing your proposal are experts in your specific problem area
Think about how you define success
Broader Impacts, EDU, etc. are not an afterthought
Show the panelists your passion about your work
Don't forget the story
