9 Automated Import System
First phase: Import Control System data exchange between customs office of entry and that of import Second phase: full AIS Data exchange with traders, too Importer may lodge data when not sitting in the country of import Security control at the customs office of entry Administrational control at the importer’s customs office Payment of the customs debts here 26/11/2018 Beograd, 19 October 2006

10 Pre-arrival Notice Time limits in case of electronic data:
Maritime traffic: Containers at least 24 hours before loading at port of departure Bulk cargo at least 4 hours before arrival at the first EU port Air traffic: Short haul flights (duration is less than 4 hours) at least by the time of actual take-off Long haul flights at least 4 hours before arrival at the first EU airport Rail and inland water traffic: at least 2 hours before arrival at the first EU entry Road traffic: at least 1 hour before arrival at the customs office of entry 26/11/2018 Beograd, 19 October 2006

11 Further Measures in the Draft Modernized Customs Code
The declarant may give Customs access to its electronic system instead of electronic declaration Short notice about the consignment No need for other accompanying documents if they are available at the trader (e.g. invoice) Different places Where the declaration is submitted and where the goods are located Where the goods are released and where the declaration has been accepted 26/11/2018 Beograd, 19 October 2006
