Opening- Dissect the Essay
You have five minutes. Work with your table partner. Identify the following: Parts of the Introduction- Hook, explaining the topic, and the thesis. Support topics- the topic sentences. Parts of the Conclusion- Restated thesis, summary of key points, and the concluding statement.

Task- Step Three Get your paper back. Finish steps one and two.
Start drafting your Essay. Attach draft into your paper.
