Be in your seat when the bell rings! Be in your assigned seat AT ALL TIMES! Do not move without permission…you will be referred for defiance. Use the time we give you to get things done! Tuck your shirt in! Ask us before listening to music. Use the netbook properly. If we ask you to do something, do it the first time you are asked. Again, this is a defiance issue.

Three Gorges Dam Writing (Due tomorrow at the beginning of class)
Use what you learned today as well as online research to write a half page to one page response that supports one of the two following statements: China’s Three Gorges Dam is a necessary step in their economic progression. The dam’s benefits far outweigh any drawbacks. China’s Three Gorges Dam is an environmental disaster that is ruining lives and destroying the landscape around it. The economic benefits are not worth the damage is it causing.

Top ten most important inventions in your lifetime (there may be some overlap from list 1) 3. At least five inventions that we may see happen in our lifetime (future inventions) *Choose the one most important from each list and explain why you chose them.
