Pain Gate Control Theory= The spinal cord contains a neurological “gate" that either blocks pains/allows signals to pass to brain. Tissue injury- opens “gate” = pain Large neural fibers= closes “gate” ( massage stubbed toe/ ice on injury) Pain Perception demo

Taste What are the four basic tastes? Sweet, salty, sour, bitter
