GOALS Students have to gain knowledge on the theory and practical in computer architecture and functions in computer system by understanding fundamental concepts of computer architecture, get to know functions and significant components such as CPU, Memory, Bus System, Input and Output. In addition, students will learn writing machine language using assembly language.
3
SYNOPSIS This course cover topics which includes Computer Architecture, Bus System, Memory Organization, Input/Output, Computer Arithmetic, Set of Instruction, CPU and Control Unit.
4
LEARNING OUTCOMES By the end of the course, students should be able to : explain main components of computer system and its functions, state every components in Computer Processing Unit and its functions, explain main component inside Memory Controller, describe function for internal memory and external memory, clarify an arithmetic function for computer system.
