1 Aerospace Engineer An aerospace engineer has training in the field of mechanical engineering but they specialize in creating an upgrading state of the art aircrafts and missiles.

2 Required Training To receive a low level aerospace engineering job a bachelor degree in aerospace engineering is required. In high school students trying to follow this career path should take chemistry, physics and advanced math classes.

3 The Skills of an Aerospace Engineer
An Aerospace engineer must have good problem solving skills so they can work around issues with the technology they work with. They also need to be skilled in advanced mathematics and machinery.

4 Typical Wages According to The Bureau of Labor Statistic the average annual pay for an aerospace engineer is $109,650. As shown by this graph Aerospace engineers are in the upper echelon when it comes to engineering salary.

5 Job Outlook Most of the aerospace engineers these days get jobs from the government or large commercial aircraft companies. The number of employed aerospace engineers is projected to drop 2% by The market for aerospace engineers is projected to stay in a similar spot although it may shrink just a bit.

6 Professional Associations
Nasa has employed many aerospace engineers over the years to work on their aircrafts. The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics is a giant society of aerospace engineers that converse, publish papers and develop new research all in the name of aerospace engineering.
