The area is around 2,20 hectares and has been approved for tourism. The concession is for 50 years commenced in 2004, leaving 42 years remaining.

3. The government suggested to the owner to manage half the island as a nature reserve, here you will find animals such as turtledoves.

4. The tourism complex has to provide services for accommodation, bar, restaurant, sports, fishing and diving facilities. Also they have provide electricity & water. The infrastructures to be built are 6 bungalows at the beginning, esplanade, reception, living room and offices. Also there is need to build infrastructure for Eco-tourism, and nautical sports such as diving, fishing and other sea related activities.

The city of Pemba has attractions such as beautiful sandy beaches, the bay, sun, corals, marine life and sport fishing. Daily incoming and outgoing flights for passengers and private flights.
