4. Set Alerts on Fields in AX
Right click on the field you want to monitor for new records, changes, or deletions.
Select Create alert rule
Set parameters

Create a filter and save as a named filter
Add non-filtered form to Favorites
Right click on Favorites and select Organize Favorites
Select the Favorite you just created
Select Edit query at the bottom of the screen
Select filter you just created as your new favorite

Dimensions Display allows for high level overview or granular view.

Select Reject new clients

This will give users a message after 5 minutes to finish their work. Once idle for 2 minutes, users will be forced off the AOS. No new connections can be made while this is enabled. When user count shows 0, work can be performed on the AOS.
Restart AOS or select Accept new clients to allow users back in AX.

Right click while holding shift on the AX icon.
Select Run as different user. Log in with other user credentials.

In any number field in AX, if there is a calculation that must be done prior to entering a number, you can quickly type that in and AX will calculate it for you.

If it’s January 24, 2017, you can enter the date this many ways in AX:

24 (works only for the current month, AX doesn't do Julian dates. This will work in every month!)
Word of caution: if I enter 124, AX will populate 12/4/2017 into the field.

Can also change session date and records will reflect that date. BE CAUTIOUS WITH THIS!
To change session date, File > Tools > Options
Or click on date on bottom of screen

Inside trade agreement lines (Setup > Price/discount > Trade agreement journal names under the Sales or Procurement modules) Choose Select

Populate the form with criteria to pull from previous trade agreement

This will pull the any previous trade agreements that meet the criteria you selected.
You can now manipulate the data to reflect increases, decreases, new warehouses, etc.
