11 Back to the board HOW TO PLAY ! Basic Rules:
Before the game begins, players must flip a coin to see which player is “O’s” and which player is “X’s.” The player who is “X’s” will always go first. Contestants take turns picking a character on the board while following the traditional tic-tac-toe strategies of which square to select. The host then asks that character a questions, which the character provides an answer for. The contestant then has a choice to either agree with the character’s answer or disagree if she/he thinks that the character is bluffing. If the contestant is correct, she/he gets the square. However, if the contestant is wrong, the other contestant gets the square. A contestant can win one of two ways: 1. By getting 3 of their symbols (“X” or “O”) in a row (vertical, horizontal, or diagonal). 2. By getting a “five-square win.” This is where none of the contestants have three of their symbols in a row, but one contestant has won 5 squares while the other has only won 4 squares. On the game board, each of the nine characters have two boxes underneath them (one labeled “O” and the other labeled “X”). Remember to click the appropriate box after each round. Example: If contestant “X” chooses Seymour Money and wins the square, then ONLY the box labeled “X” under Seymour should be selected. Back to the board
