1. RFID SOCCER BALL IMPACT: PROBLEM: APPROACH:
There have been times when huge fights break out when the referee misses a call. By implementing the RFID reader on the goal posts, the referee will not have to make judgments call anymore, but simply let the RFID reader make the calls. It is more reliable and will solve a lot of problems and confusion on the field.
Deciding whether or not the soccer ball actually went in the goal can sometimes be a judgment call based on the referee’s decision. A lot of times they are not always right because the play happens so fast that they don’t always see what happens.
APPROACH:
A solution to this problem would be to attach an RFID tag to the ball and an RFID reader to the goal post. This way, whether or not the ball went in the goal will not be in question.
