3. Career and College Navigators
build program awareness with administration, faculty, staff, and the community;
develop and implement student outreach/recruitment strategies;
provide intensive, 1:1 educational case management and student success support (affective challenges);
Facilitate enrollment, registration, academic advising, financial aid processes, etc. (logistic/systemic challenges)
guide students through the individual career and academic planning (ICAP) process.
Navigators at each college are working hard to roll out this project…

6. Next Step Expand ICAP for postsecondary students
ICAP work group forming to
refine the APS ICAP definition;
identify postsecondary student constituencies in Colorado;
refine quality indicators and standards;
expand the study of research-based evidence of APS ICAP need and benefit;
align APS ICAP with secondary ICAP;
develop additional tools and resources;
learn about existing APS ICAP practices taking place at higher education institutions in and outside of Colorado;
determine additional ways to implement and sustain APS ICAP; and
determine appropriate methods to disseminate APS ICAP information.
