2 Agenda Overall System Update Flight Updates Phase V Deliverables
Risk Table Bill of Materials Week 11 Vision Review, Week 14 Vision Preview Technical Paper and Poster

3 Overall System Update

4 Electrical Full system was wired. The motor’s directional control and speed control got tested. Largest issue was a grounded pin on the H-bridge, but directional functionality was rerouted through the switch for use. No significant changes were made to the overall system since no full test was made. We don’t know of any issues that would have arose.

5 Torque Test

6 Results First Run - Bolts torqued down: Ranged from 1.5N to 3.5N over one revolution on force gauge Second run - Bolts loosened slightly: Constant value of 0.5N on force gauge. This translates to a drag torque of Nm or ft-lbs After running the motor for 30 minutes, there was no noticeable change change on the spring scale.

7 Issues Encountered Belt was slipping (https://youtu.be/lsIKJx1k_vs )
Uncontrollable plane

8 Flight

9 RIP Meow/Zoolander

10 Videos https://youtu.be/ziNVr39KF94
Trial 1 : Untethered test flight, Mike(Aero Club) was the pilot. Tested if the plane can turn left and right. Trial 2 : Trial 3 : Tethered test flight, second tethered attempt, when the string had maximum tension, nose of plane went downward then crashed

11 Hello Mew! Easy Star 2 RC Plane
The physical specs of the planes are similar The Easy Star has a stronger motor Will hopefully add more control to pilot
