How do you learn? Activity #3
Working in pairs or trios, you will have five minutes to put together a puzzle. You will not have a reference picture to use while you are working. Ready?
11
How do you learn? Consider how hard – or easy – you found the previous activities. If you liked the first activity, you might be a strong visual learner. If you liked the second activity, you might be a strong auditory learner. If you liked the third activity, you might be a strong kinesthetic learner. Complete the following quiz to further determine what your strongest learning style is. Pass out quiz. Read through as a group. Explain how to score.
12
Visual Learners like to SEE what they’re working on
like to write things down like to have a paper or digital copy to follow along on like to keep lots of notes like pictures and diagrams
13
Auditory Learners like to HEAR what they’re working on
like things to be explained/told to them like to talk about what they’re learning like to say their answers out loud
14
Kinestethic Learners like to DO SOMETHING while they’re working
like to “jump in” and try something rather than read directions or look at a diagram like to use their hands like to be active while working
