Mrs. Poffenberger’s Friday, Sept. 9th edition CLASSROOM news Sneak Peak AT NEXT WEEK Week in Review: This week we learned each other’s name with the help of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! We were introduced to our first two rainbow words – me and my and how to draw a person using mat man. These are foundational writing skills. Our first journal writing was about things we like to do and we learned to pull sounds slowly out of our mouths and to use “magic lines” when we are stuck on a sound. We made a coconut book that matched numbers to object 1 -5 and graphed if we liked or disliked coconut. We made two class books about who is in our room and what we are good at. We sorted items by color, item, and size. We loved beginning our group time when we work as a team and rotate through tasks!
