1. Computer Lease
All computers and iPads will be purchased through a lease in March and July of each year
OTIS is using FileMaker database to collect requests from schools
Schools will have to pay for the full price of the device (including financing costs)
Schools will be charged the annual cost of tech to service the device
Devices will not be on a refresh cycle

2. Fixed Asset Tagging
All furniture and equipment over $750 must be tagged and inventoried
Computers, tablets, and iPads under $750 must also be tagged and inventoried
Tags will be sent to the school/department’s bookkeeper to distribute
Bookkeeper and Principal/Department Director will have to sign the “Tagged Items Confirmation Form”

All Schools and Departments are required to conduct an annual inventory
Inventory of all fixed assets is conducted from April to May
Computers, tablets, and iPads inventory is conducted from November to December
Schools should be maintaining an inventory of all non-capitalized items
