Language Arts: Lesson 2 Words-Spelling. Grandparents Day writing, Parts of a Sentence Subject & Predicate. Student Learning Goals: 4.2.W.4 I can read/spell unfamiliar words that have more than one syllable. 4.5.W.3 Students will compose simple, compound, and complex sentences and questions, create sentences with an understood subject, and correct fragments and run-on sentences.
Social Studies: Southwest Region of the US, Road Trip! Student Learning Goals: a Locate various North American geographical features b Identify the states, state capitals, and major cities in each region.
