Strengths vs. Weaknesses… What so important?
☺ Necessary for leaders to know those of their group as well as their own! ☺ WHY? Different Personalities impact group function. Strength Helping team realize their strengths and weaknesses. Weakness Empathy

Values are important! Scouts are value-based, so his leadership workshops are value-based. 12 Point Boy Scout Law Trust and Respect are the most important.

And what about change? ☺Important in any leadership task!☺ WHY?
Methods of instilling values will change from generation to generation. THEN NOW Camping/Digging Trenches Corrective measures on the environment

The vision is most important and difficult task
“It defines great leadership because all great leaders are determined in their vision.” But, powerful emotional reactions are involved. Teams can be destroyed and people left behind. The future is uncertain. “But that is the emotional price you pay as a leader to get to where you want to be.”
