Neglecting Parents are completely uninvolved
Do not support child emotional Lack of responsiveness to a child’s needs Make no demands of their children and they are often indifferent and dismissive In extreme cases, can result in loosing custody of children

Permissive Extremely relaxed approach
Parents are generally warm, nurturing, and affectionate Often overly accepting of their children’s behavior, good or bad.

Very demanding, but not responsive Don’t express much warmth or nurturing Utilize punishments with little or no explanation Don’t give children choices or options
