Reminders
Math
Unit 2 Review Monday in class. Students should bring their books home Monday night to study for the Unit 2 test on Tuesday.
Then students will begin Unit 3 Adding/Subtracting 3 digit numbers.
Facts Quiz #6 on Subtraction facts will be on Friday. This test will go in the gradebook.
Check and sign your student’s planner every night.

Unit 1 week 5- Comprehension skills: ask and answer questions, main idea and key details, Genre: expository text, Vocabulary skill: multiple-meaning words, Writing skill: sentence fluency, Grammar: simple and compound sentences
Vocabulary Words: carved, clues, grand, landmark, massive, monument, national, traces
Spelling words: coast, float, toad, coal, soak, gold, sold, scold, slope, broke, note, bone, slow, show, foe
Reading Log Homework -Students read AR books for 15 minutes Monday-Thursdays and record information in log. I check it on Fridays.
*Reading logs will go home on Monday
Upcoming Events
September Make a Splash Field Trip. Students need to wear their swimsuits under their clothes, bring a change of clothes and a towel each day.
