Happy October! The children are off to a great start. We had an awesome September where we have quickly learned our routine and we are learning our classroom rules. Everyone seems to be enjoying Kindergarten! Homework- We will start homework on 10/10. You will return the packet on Friday in your child’s folder. Please keep it in a safe place as your child works on it each night. Some parents like to leave the homework in the folder as a safe place. I won’t take the homework out until Friday even if it is completed early. You have been given two tools to help you with the homework. The happy homework helper (brown envelope) and the yellow folder which has the alphabet that you will practice the sounds with your child. Directions will be on the homework sheet to guide you.. Homework is used as reinforcement to skills being taught in the classroom. Halloween - Our Fall parade will be on October 31st at 9:30. The children are to bring their costumes to school in a bag that has his/her name clearly written on it. We will also have a Fall party that our classroom parent will be organizing. Thank you in advance for planning our party!
