2. Connect the device
In order to communicate the micrometer and the PC must be connected using a cable RS232 serial null modem (Buchel item no: ).
In case the PC has no RS232 it is allowed to use a RS232-USB converter (Buchel item no: ).
The converter must be plug on the PC and the serial cable among the converter and the instrument.
It is NOT allowed to connect the USB converter directly to the instrument.

3. Connect the device
Press Options
Press Graph
Press Serial

4. Connect the device
Press Return
Press Return

5. Double-Click on GraphMaster
Activate the device
Double-Click on GraphMaster

6. Activate the device
Click on Add Device

7. Activate the device
Type the model “49-56”

8. Activate the device
Click on Install

9. Activate the device
Click on Yes

10. Activate the device
Click on Next

11. Turn OFF the instrument
Activate the device
Turn OFF the instrument
Plug the serial cable

12. Activate the device
Click on Next

13. Activate the device
Wait the scan

14. Activate the device
Turn ON the instrument
