2 More than words… It is said that a picture is worth 1000 words.
On the previous slide you saw the definition of discrimination. To get a feel for what color discrimination looked like during the Jim Crow era I am going to show you a series of photos that depict color discrimination. Some of these images may be difficult to view.

The water fountains were mostly the most segregated item in the Jim Crow South, white people were often outspoken about not sharing hygiene facilities with African Americans.
