2. Liberal Democrats (Internet Left) – are committed to a progressively liberal agenda on ALL key issues, promoting diversity and equality for all groups and fighting every conservative policy with no compromise.
Moderate Democrats – adopt a more pragmatic approach to policy development. They attempt to combine both conservative and progressive elements in different policy areas
Blue Dogs –Main concern is the economy and they advocate tax cuts, reduced government expenditure and are also known as ‘deficit hawks’ –fearful of growing government budget.
Conservative Democrats - the most right-wing faction within the Democrats. Social policies that respect Christian values are also important to some of this faction.
