6. Recertification Information The recertification process is done completely online. Individuals due for recertification should read the Recertification Handbook (www.cpancapa.org > Recertification).www.cpancapa.org Spring 2014 Recertification registration is February 1 through April 30. Certificants can track their contact hours in the new Continual Learning Documentation Log which functions as an electronic filing cabinet. - update your contact information - receive emails from ABPANC - complete the recertification process

15. New Unit-Level Award Nursing Passion in Action Designed to recognize CPAN and CAPA nurses who go beyond their normal job to provide outstanding patient care. Nurse Managers use the award in their unit to reward Nursing Passion in Action. ABPANC provides one poster and 12 cards for monthly recognition. Award entries are faxed or emailed to ABPANC and recipients are entered into a drawing for ten $25 gift certificates per month.
