3. The customers physical street address is also displayed in DMV Inquiry as the “Primary Address.”

4. Mailing of Original Products
Currently, all Original Products for those over the age of 18 are printed and mailed through Central Print, and are only sent to the customer’s Primary Address.
Effective 12/14/2011, if a customer indicates on their application that they use a PO Box to receive their mail, it should no longer be keyed in as part of the customer’s Primary Address, but rather as a Permanent Mailing address for that customer.
***If mailing address is a PO Box and it is in the same city as the Primary Address, the product will be mailed to the PO Box, otherwise the product will be mailed to the Primary Address.***
This change is being made in preparation for full Central Print and to allow the customer’s to receive their product in a more timely manner.
*As always, any product returned undeliverable will be researched by Central Office/QIS and may be r ed to the customer on a case by case basis.

5. Mailing of all other DL/ID Products
Currently, all non-original products are handed to the customer over the counter.
Once Full Central Print is in place all DL/ID products will be mailed to the customer.
What address will the product be mailed to for a non-original product?
If a mailing address exists and:
Mailing address is in Wisconsin, product will be mailed to the mailing address
Mailing address is outside of Wisconsin, product will be mailed to the primary address.
If no mailing address exists, product will be mailed to the primary address.
*As always, any product returned undeliverable will be researched by Central Office/QIS and may be r ed to the customer on a case by case basis.

6. When is an original product re-mailed by QIS staff?
When a customer lives in an area where mail is not delivered to a residence, the product will be r ed to the customer’s PO Box as long as it is listed correctly as a permanent mailing address.
This procedure is in place to verify residency.
