Workshop is follow-on to summer 2010 workshop on Using GIS and Remote Sensing to Teach Geoscience in the 21st Century First time Cutting Edge has offered a topic-specific course development workshop

Introduction Focus is on GIS/RS and geosciences.
Many geology departments do not teach GIS or RS, and students take courses in other departments. Workshop has two aims: to help faculty add GIS and RS to geology curricula to help faculty add geo examples to general GIS and RS courses.
