Figure 1 Outcome of natural-cycle IVF cycles without (n = 108) and with (n = 103) clomiphene citrate. Patients underwent both types of cycle without randomization: 103 patients started with a natural-cycle IVF cycle without clomiphene (NC-IVF) and, if not pregnant after the first cycle, had a natural-cycle IVF cycle with clomiphene (ccNC-IVF); 14 patients started with a ccNV-IVF cycle. The treatment steps shown are: (1) Cycles initiated; (2) cycles without premature ovulation; (3) cycles with follicle retrieval; (4) cycles with retrieved oocytes; (5) cycles with mature oocytes; (6) cycles with zygotes; and (7) cycles with transfers.
