Aloha, I hope that you will agree that emerging technology is an exciting branch of educational technology. Whether learning be through a simulation video game, rated E for everyone, a virtual field trip or a CAVE activity, it definitely will be engaging. Not to be overlooked though is the fact that these technologies are time intensive up front to develop, only paying off down the road. Which underscores that they are only as effective as the planning done (learning objectives) before the developing with the technology". We've nearly come full circle in our studies. =)
Next week will be covering our last topic for the semester, Integrating Technology for Diverse Learners.
