You can also name a pattern. For example this pattern above can be named: ABCABC or NUMBER PATTERNS (SEQUENCE) 8,12,16,20,24…

VOCABULARY Patterns: a sequence that shows repetition. It can be a shapes, letters, numbers, or other objects. Repeated patterns: are patterns that repeat over and over again. For example: this pattern is going; star, heart, star, heart and so on. Relationship: is a rule between two things (see examples on next slide)
