Day of Research Engagement and Training Saturday, March 1, 2014 Victory Christian International Ministries Markham, IL RESEARCHER/ PRESENTER UNIVERSITY/ ORGANIZATION RESEARCH SPECIALTY/INTEREST Emily Anderson PhD MPH Assistant Professor in the Neiswanger Institute for Bioethics Loyola University Emily Anderson is the Assistant Professor in The Neiswanger Institute of Bioethics at Loyola University of Chicago. Her areas of interest and expertise include ethical issues in research with vulnerable populations; institutional review board (IRB) policy; and ethical issues in public health and health disparities. Doriane C. Miller MD Principal Investigator/ CAPriCORN University of Chicago Dr. Miller is the inaugural director of the Center for Community Health and Vitality at the University of Chicago Medical Center. The Center for Community Health and Vitality’s mission is to improve population health outcomes for residents on the South Side of Chicago through community-engaged research, demonstration and service models. Madeleine U. Shalowitz MD MBA Co-Principal Investigator NorthShore University Health Systems Director, Center for Clinical and Research Informatics Research Associate (Associate Professor), University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine Jamie Dwyer Visiting Assistant Information Services Librarian University of Illinois at Chicago As Visiting Assistant Information Services Librarian at the Library of the Health Sciences, Jamie Dwyer supports student and faculty research at the University of Illinois at Chicago Aingyea Kellom, MPA Program Associate Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Program Associate for the Patient Engagement team at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
