What is deforestation? Deforestation is the permanent destruction of forests in order to make the land available for other uses.

Activity- How is the rainforest developed?
Fill in the tables about different types of development using the information sheets on the wall. After finding out the information decide as a group what you think the environmental impact (/10) and the economic rating (how much the product is worth) (/10) is. You only have 4 minutes with each type of development so you need to be on your toes

Detective Time Your task is to find them and write them down (you may bullet point them in note form) Rules This is an individual task! There is no need to speak to anyone No messing around or pushing each other The information is spread out therefore you all should not try to be in the same place at once.
